After photographing their pre-wedding session a few months back and witnessing how bubbly and extroverted Rush and Sapna were, I could tell that their wedding was going to be full of happiness and laughter.
Their wedding was at Manjit’s Concord Function Centre, and reception at Miramare Gardens.
Following some lively photos at Rush and Sapna’s Mehndi and Haldi nights (where I got to drink some Kava with the boys which gave me a nice buzz – I swear it helps me shoot better!), I met Sapna in her hotel room on the morning of the wedding.
Sapna exuded pure elegance and style:

Rush, cool and collected as ever:

I’ve rarely seen this in Sydney – Sapna arrived on a Doli carried (carefully!) by her uncles:

After some emotional goodbyes, we headed to nearby Cabarita Park for some fun photos to unwind after a big day. Rush and Sapna are such a relaxed, fun-loving pair.

The reception on the following day was at the stately Miramare Gardens. We met at Martin Place at sunset and then headed up to the venue for the big party.

Rocking the pink!

Congratulations Rush and Sapna!
This is definitely one of the most unique and quirky weddings I’ve ever been to. Adam and Michelle are alternative in every sense, and perfect for each other for it. They met in line for concert tickets (how rock and roll is that!) and share a love of classic rock and body art. Their wedding was at the breathtaking Curzon Hall (which has personal significance since it’s where I’m getting married next year).
Michelle and the girls completely owned the “glam-Goth” look:

Adam and his boys in their matching Matrix-style trenchcoats oozed cool:

Fantastic styling! I love the Corpse Bride cake topper:

Pulling shapes and salsa dancing to Black Sabbath – it doesn’t get much cooler than that:

Congratulations Adam and Michelle!
Love the images, you were able to wonderfully capture the Gothic look merged with wonderful light and details. Love the bridal portraits the most, your clients must be so happy!
It was a crisp brilliant blue winter’s day for Hilary and Mark’s wedding. Following a moving Christian service and ceremony at Torwood Lounge in Sydney’s south, I followed Hilary and Mark to the historic Victoria Barracks in Paddington for some romantic, charming and downright silly photos. Here are some of my favourites from their special day.

I could photograph here all day long!

Why do I always attract the crazy onesĀ

Congratulations Mark and Hilary, and thank you for letting me be a part of your day.
Preet and Deep were married in a tradition Sikh wedding ceremony, followed by an elegant and energetic reception at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. After getting to know them at their e-session a few months back, and seeing what a pair of jokers they were, I knew the days leading up to the wedding and the wedding day would be a whole lot of fun.
Preet, who had requested all of the wedding events be conducted in classic Sikh tradition, looked glamorous in her traditional wedding Sari:

Circling the Holy Book is an essential part of the Sikh wedding ceremony.

An emotional farewell as Preet left her family to join Deep’s:

The reception at the stylish Four Seasons Hotel:

Following their intimate first dance, Preet and Deep delighted their guests with an exciting Bollywood-style dance routine:

The guests then proceeded to redefine the meaning of the word “party” !

Congratulations Preet and Deep!
Great pics…I am a fan. Amature Photographer.

Kaveeta and Andrew’s wedding on the Starship Sydney from last October has been featured on today’s Sydney Morning Herald website! Go straight to the page, and here are some screen grabs in case the page goes offline after today.

Rakesh and Sunita had agreed to meet me at the Opera House for their afternoon e-session, but due to major road closures were running very late. We managed to get a few great night shots by Sydney’s famous Circular Quay foreshore, and rescheduled a daytime re-shoot a few days later. We had a lot more success the second time round and I got to know Rakesh and Sunita better. They are both warm, loving and humble people. Here are a few favourites from their e-sessions. I’ll post up their wedding photos in a following post.

It was a glorious sunny day for Yuval and Gabe’s wedding. I’d been eager to finally meet them in person as they were arranging their wedding remotely from the UK. I was glad to find that they were both easygoing, honest and warm people with whom I built an instant rapport.
Following some photos of the two in the Rocks, we met at Breakfast Point for the gorgeous garden ceremony, then it was on to Waterview in Bicentennial Park for the fun and colourful reception.
Gabe arrived in a Model-T Ford:

The stunning bridal party:

Unique and quirky reception styling, all based around Alice in Wonderland:

These guys know how to cut loose!

Congratulations Yuval and Gabe, and all the best for your new lives together.
Two of my recent weddings have been featured in this season’s Cosmopolitan Bride magazine! They selected the beautifully styled weddings of True and Samantha and Gaurav and Swarthi. Here are the spreads:

They’re in newsagents now, go grab your copy!
Awesome Photos. Attended Sapna and Rush’s wedding as well, mate you are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Highly recommended.
Greg and Krystal were married in an intimate ceremony at Wollongong’s Rhododendron Gardens , followed by a rowdy reception at the famous City Beach Function Centre. Greg and Krystal are made for each other – they are both laid back, no-fuss people and are unmistakeably best mates.
Greg and the boys looking very sharp, and completely relaxed (note: this may be attributed to the table in the back yard littered with beer bottles):

Maya the flower girl was simply adorable – and entertained us with a little booty-shaking!

Krystal looked so elegant in her Maggie Sottero gown:

The rich blue of the bridesmaids’ dresses complemented the lush greenery and colourful flowers in the gardens:

Some cheeky photos by the Wollongong lighthouse:

That night, my theory was proven beyond a doubt: girls go CRAZY for Bon Jovi.

Within mere minutes, the cosy dancefloor turned into a mosh pit, complete with conga lines and swing dancing:

Congratulations Greg and Krystal!
