Steve and Peta’s Chinese Gardens Darling Harbour Wedding
With just 30 people in attendance, young Adelaide couple Steve and Peta’s wedding was party from start to finish! The girls managed to crack me up with their uninhibited (and slightly crass) jokes in the Novotel hotel room, and mum and dad joined in the fun. The ceremony was held in the beautiful Chinese Gardens of Friendship in Darling Harbour. Following a fun mini-train ride along the water (getting a whole lot of attention on the way), we stopped by Cargo Bar on Kings Street Wharf for a few drinks then boarded a Matilda Cruise for the wild and rowdy reception.

Everything was hot pink… the dresses, the kids’ outfits, and the flowers:

So much for a serious bridal portrait!

The room had a view straight into the Chinese Gardens – the girls were waiting until there were enough people in the pavilion:

I love this photo… possibly one of my favourites from the day:

A minute before the big moment – I love the nervous anticipation in their faces:

Steve beaming:

Peta makes such a beautiful bride:

More pink!

Thanks guys for a fun and relaxed day – it was a blast!
